The Head of the church is Christ and at the center of true worship is the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. The Bible that we love and teach must be what brings God’s people together in genuine worship and true fellowship. We are dedicated to sharing the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ, that people may be saved, baptized and discipled for membership in His Church. By the leading of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word, the body of Christ grows together in unity and spiritual maturity. Through the preaching and teaching of the Bible, one is equipped for ministry in order to magnify His name. We are excited to see God’s hand in His ministry as we meet the needs at Coarsegold Community Bible Church and the world with the wonderful message of the gospel of Christ.
The Bible
The Bible is the verbal, infallible, and inerrant Word of God. Since Divine authority extends to every word, this is plenary or full inspiration. On the authority of Jesus Christ the Scriptures are completely inerrant. The Scriptures are very clear; the Bible is the only source of life for the Christian. God’s Holy Word is adequate to fully equip you for a life that would glorify Him both now and throughout all eternity.
The Purpose of the Church
We believe that Coarsegold Community Bible Church exists to glorify God through the ministry of His Word. Whereby, believers are strengthened in their faith and those without hope may be introduced to Christ, who is our only hope. We believe that this is accomplished through the systematic teaching and preaching of His Gospel message and His Word.
The Objective of the Church
The Bible is clear that the reason why Christians are here on the earth is to accomplish the will of God. The objectives of the church outlined in the Bible are:
Edification
We must seek to “build up” Christians in the faith. This is done through consistent, accurate, and relevant teaching of God’s Word.
Evangelism
We proclaim the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ, His death, burial and resurrection in order to call people to repentance by grace through faith in His finished work on the cross.
Expansion
We must not only reach Coarsegold with the Good News, but we must be global in our vision for the cause of Christ. The work of the church must be reproduced in new churches throughout the world.
